Dr. Chuang is Board Certified with the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added qualifications in Neuroradiology. Dr. Chuang graduated from Brown University with undergraduate degrees in Biophysics and East Asian Studies, and obtained his M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology, and fellowship training in diagnostic neuroradiology also at UCSF. Dr. Chuang also completed an additional fellowship in Pediatric Neuroradiology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Chuang was previously a staff neuroradiologist at the Hospital for Sick Children and Assistant Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto. He is crrently an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at UC San Diego. His professional interests include adult and pediatric neuroradiology and spine imaging, imaging of epilepsy and CNS malformations, and pediatric magnetoencephalography and magnetic source imaging.
