Dr. Carey is the current President/Chief Executive Officer of San Diego Imaging Medical Group. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at UCSD’s School of Medicine. Dr. Carey’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree from University College of Dublin and a medical degree from the National University of Ireland. His internship was obtained at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda in Ireland. Dr. Carey completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Victoria Hospital, London in Ontario, Canada. He went on to Boston to complete his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Radiology at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Subsequent to his medical education and training, Dr. Carey received his MBA at San Diego State University.
