Dr. Schiffman is the Medical Director for the Imaging Center in Chula Vista. He joined San Diego Imaging Medical Group in 1995. Dr. Schiffman was a member of Bay Radiology Medical Group, which merged with SDDR in 1995. Dr. Schiffman has continued to provide professional radiology services in the South Bay area and is also on staff at Sharp Memorial Hospital and Children’s Hospital and Health Center. Dr. Schiffman was the past Chief of Radiology at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center.
Dr. Schiffman’s education includes a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.D. from the University of Maryland. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital as well as in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Schiffman went on to complete his fellowship training in ultrasonography, computed tomography, and interventional radiology at UCSD. Dr. Schiffman is board certified both in Diagnostic Radiology and Internal Medicine.
